Don Smith oversees MWH’s North and Latin American operations. MWH – most recently known as Montgomery Watson
Harza – provides engineering, construction and technology solutions to the environment, water, wastewater and
power markets around the globe.
In addition to charting the company’s strategic growth and expansion, Mr. Smith holds numerous Board of Director
posts at the holding and operating company levels. With over 25 years experience, Mr. Smith has experience in all
facets of engineering and project management. Most recently, he served as Program Director for MWH’s United
Utilities project in Warrington, UK. This unique project – the largest in the company’s history – is a $3.5 billion
capital improvement program encompassing 7 million domestic users and 200,000 business customers in a 14,000 square
kilometer area. Previously he held several executive and project management roles with the company.
